As we landed on the moon, my heart felt like it was going to burst but as I laid my foot on the moon, this is the first thing I said:
Moon
Dark, Gloomy
Gleam, glimmer, mellows
It lives in space
Darkness
Cinquain Poem
The Moon

This is an amazing poem, Denise. You've used some really great descriptive words to describe the moon and space. I enjoyed it so much I've shown it to some of the other Summer Learning Journey blog commenters! :) Do you like writing poetry?

That's so true! It's a fun, creative outlet, isn't it? Art is another fun way to express yourself. Do you like art as well?
