Best Animal in The World

In class we have been doing lots of fantastic writing about different topics. Our goal was to write two paragraphs and learn about different things so we can use it to write our paragraphs. Our WALT was to write and structure explanation writing. We used and learnt about what SEER is and used it for our structure, using this we wrote a paragraph using SEER. SEER stands for Starting Statement, Explanation, Example and Relevance and all of them had'd to be in order to make the reader understand and make it more interesting.

This was kind of easy to do but others had trouble doing it. Some of us worked independent and some of us worked on the mat with our student teacher, Mr Lee. All of us put lots of our effort into our writing to hook the reader in.

In my opinion the best animal in the world are Dogs. Firstly, this is because dogs are really caring and helpful to others, especially golden retrievers that helps the blind and to those who needs care. Another reason is that dogs are like us humans, they can see, taste, hear, smell and touch and they can sometimes understand us too, when we are sad or lonely or even happy. Dogs would be on our side and make us feel comfortable. An example for that is, if we don’t have any existing dogs living in our human world, would you think there would be any animal that can help the blind or help the community help the people in need. Another example for that is, if we live by ourselves, we would feel lonely and have no one in company. This is why dogs are the best animal in the world because they help us and care for us and they make us feel comfortable when we are alone.

We were all excepted to do two paragraphs but it was fine doing just one. Our student teacher Mr Lee had six lessons with us and six weeks with us, but he left after those six weeks and we were all sad that he was leaving but at the same time we were happy for him and wished for him to turn out to be a great teacher.

What is your favourite animal?
Do you also think that dogs are the best animal in the world?
