Our New Church

During this year we weren't able to use our church because it was getting rebuilt and we had to have a Senior assembly and a junior assembly because room 6 was too small and the other rooms was to small too so the senior had there assembly in room six and the juniors have there one in room 2. But now the church is finished and in class we had to make a google doc and write about what it felt and what you like when we first see and felt when we came in the church.

 Our New Church

When I first came in the church it looked kind of big but beautiful and when I was coming in I saw the holy water and it was on a big bowl and it was shining bright. Then when I sat down and looked at the front, at the left I saw I statue of Mary and on the right I saw a statue of St. Bernadette's and on the very top of them was a red cross hanging on the wall on top of them. Also when I looked at the side of the walls it was different I saw a tree and big stars on the edge of the branches. Then I looked at the back where the priest was sitting and I saw the Tabernacle it was also different from the old church because it use to hang on the wall but now it’s connected to the floor. During the Mass Father went on the front and talked more about the new church.

Then he said that the statue of St Bernadette was from France and the red crosses and Mary was made in Spain. Also Father said that the tree in the walls represents that Jesus is the tree and we are the branches. After Father finished his speech he blessed the Host and The Chalice then nearly after when the priest hands out the Host and The Chalice the choir sang a song and after mass when we were walking back I saw I little corner at the church and in it was more space to sit in. Also After the mass I saw that the plants outside the church was new grown and there was new plants in the church.
