This Lent our class learnt about the Easter Triduum. The Easter Triduum are the events leading up to Jesus's death, like Palm Sunday, the Last Supper, and more. As it is also Holy Week, we made a piece of artwork leading up to the events of Jesus's death and Resurrection. To talk more about the Easter Triduum, the events are all related to Jesus, Mary, God and many of Jesus's disciples. During Lent, one of the important event is when the angel Gabriel visits Mary to tell her she will be giving birth to Jesus Christ. Another one is when Jesus had the Last Supper with his disciples and washing the feet of his disciples.
The artwork we made is related to the events of Easter Triduum and we had to choose between two events that happened to merged together to make a kinda looking illusion. It was really cool. After we drew them, over lined them and colored them using pastels. We would merged them together and if we look at them at different views, we can see the two difference.
Here is the artwork I made:
I kinda thought it would turn out well but it wasn't what I expected, but it was well enough. I really did try my best and I hope you liked it! ;)
