All About Me

Welcome! My name is Denise. I am 10 years old and I go to St Bernadette's school in Room 4.
I’m from Philippines and I am a year 5.I have two siblings and 26 cousins.
There are five members in family me, my parents and my siblings.
I have the best teacher ever and it is Ms Holland

I’ve only been to two countries Christchurch and Manila. I have no pets and I play netball
and soccer.
My favorite thing to do is to travel around and to bake.

My favourite food is ice cream and my favourite subjects are maths and Science.

My family have been to different places that’s why I like to travel.

The Cave

At class we had to write about a Samurai and Tiger. How they met and how they ended up on a cave.

The Cave

While I was walking with my pet tiger. We saw a lovely forest so we both decided to go in but when we made it through the end of the forest we saw ponds, dirt and the sky was empty. We were afraid. But when I looked back I couldn’t see my pet tiger anywhere. So I looked behind me and around me. Then I heard a sound and it sounded like my pet tiger.I went forward but my pet tiger looked so angry so I pat it’s head and it looked back at me and it wasn’t my tiger. I ran and ran but I wasn’t looking where I was running so I slipped in a very deep hole. Then I felt something on my hand it was very fluffy and when I looked closer it was my pet tiger he looked very happy when he saw me. Then a tiger came he said if you stay here you have to go through the cave and we did we did it because we had to save the world then the tiger said to us you have to be careful my great grandfather has been through this. We went in then the cave started to shake l ran very fast so as the tiger. When we made it through we saw a button that says press me so we did and when we did the cave started to disappear. It disappeared and the cave was gone everyone was happy so as the sun was back. The tiger came towards us and he was really proud. Then he said “ You guys are the new leader of the forest and we did.

Everyone was really happy.

And the cave never came back.

W.A.L.T reflect on how God is present in our lives. And we had to make a DLO about God is present in our lives.

Private and Public Information

WALT teach other people how to use Public and Private information.Also we can make a game, kahoot and etc...Me and my buddies made a game and it's about private and public information.Public is something you can tell other people about your self and Private is something you don't want people to know about your self.

you can go forwards two times.

Facts About Our School

WALT write about our school and show it to people.

Here is my writing:

St Bernadettes School

St Bernadettes school is a Catholic school. In our school we also have
132 children/students. Also we have 9 classrooms and we have students
that are year 0-8.

In St Bernadettes school we also have a church that is getting rebuilt and
it will be finish getting re-built in October. The Church is getting rebuilt
because there are lots of damages and some broken glasses.
So we put all the church stuff to the hall and used the hall to be the
church so people wanted to go to the church can go to the church.

We also have the CERR Values.The CERR Values are Compassion,
Excellence, Responsibility and Respect. The CERR Values is important
because it teaches us things and I there was no CERR Values in our
school, our school will be bad and people won’t come to our school.

We have 7 teachers in our school. There’s Ms Holland, Ms Satherley,
Ms Lee, Mrs Lee, Mrs Mitchell, Ms Begin. We also have Mr Norman our
principal and the staff Julie, Trish,  Amanda, Denise, Shelly, Paige, Henk
and our Kiwican leaders Katie and Ross.

In our school we also have uniforms. There are summer and winter
uniforms that we have to wear each term. On term 1 and 4 we have to
wear summer uniforms because it's summer and on term 2 and 3 we have
to wear winter uniforms because it’s winter and autumn. The uniforms are
important because we can present our school in public and show how
great our school is.

I like the school and people should come here because it’s fun here and
people like it here.

How to Plant a Seed

WALT plant a seed and we had to make instructions how to make seed and after we've done it we had to follow are instructions that we made.

What you needed:

1 Plant pot

1 Glove

Soil

1 Seed

Water

How To Plant A Seed

1.Get one glove.

2.Get your pot then put the soil in the pot.

3.After,you make a little hole on the soil and put the seed on the hole you made.

4.Then cover the hole.

5.Next you get your watering can and water the seed.

6.Then you put it somewhere the sun is shining and don’t forget to water it once a day.

 7.Then wait for a couple of weeks until it grows.
